We are so glad that you took time to see what we are all about and to find out more about what services we have to offer you.
Allow us to start at “the begining”… Our dream turned into reality!. We are not a very “old” company and would like to think that this is an advantage, as we are very passionate about what we are doing and want to make EVERY function, a huge success! We are full of ideas and energy, prepared to roll up our sleeves, get our hands dirty and stretch ourselves to accomplish any task.
We have been organising events and functions individually over the years, whether it be at schools, weddings, or helping our friends with their weddings, to surprise parties etc. We have known each other for a number of years and have worked together before and always had a close friendship. Over a cup of coffee, we decided to combine our strenghts and passions and start “Fluttaby Weddings”. We were both in a place where we wanted to “live our dreams” and to find contentment in what we were doing. We knew that as things started taking shape that we would make a success of working together and making every function we do a memorable occassion.
Many people have asked us… why Fluttaby Weddings? Well, in case you too were wondering, let us answer that question. Dale had always had this name and for years she sketched it on paper, worked on the logo and knew that someday she would use Fluttaby! Well, after going over a few options for our business name and logo – we were left with Dale’s dream – Fluttaby. So there you have it. Another dream come true.
We pride ourselves in working hard to make your dream day a wonderful reality. We have both been married and gone through the whole “organising” and deadlines and stress, and know what an incredible day it is, and both have wonderful memories that we carry with us. We also know that there is a lot of work that goes into a wedding and that things can get very hectic and stressful. That is where we come in!
We will help you from begining to end by assisting in sourcing a venue, photographer, invitations, flowers, wedding cake, wedding attire, decor, hiring equipment and every additional service you may require. We would like to offer you or “On the day management” package where we are there from the start of your big day until the end, making sure that everything runs smoothly! We have found that this is where many things go wrong, as there is always more than one person involved in a function and they do not have “the bigger” picture or necessay know how and when they need to be doing what is required of them. This is our forte – we are excellent co-ordinators and have very high standards. We will make sure that every detail is taken care of and every bow and table is perfectly placed, the food is warm, served at the right moment and that your guests are taken care of. We make sure that any unforseen “hiccups” are taken care of, allowing you the freedom to focus wholeheartedly on enjoying your “special day”.
